Hello All,
continue reading »The news of the fire was a shock to me this morning when I got the phone call. My wife asked if I had read the e-mail. I rushed to the computer to see all that was going on. And there it was, pictures and videos of Olde Towne Brewing company on fire. The pictures were so devastating that I had to go see it for myself.

God is very mysterious as David pointed out Sunday morning. If He wanted the remains of His Son to be found it would be much more obvious, I think. The Bible speaks of Jesus ascending into Heaven. I believe that it was His whole person that went up, not just His spirit. God performs miracles. And an entire human body rising into Heaven is much more miraculous than a spirit. Therefore there are no earthly remains of Jesus. I’m not saying that what was found should be dismissed, but trying to disprove anything that God does is shaky ground that I care not to stand on.

Hello too all, and it was great seeing all of you this morning. As some of you know, Kristina’s Dad, Norman has been having some bad medical problems. Two weeks ago he had a stroke. Since then, his health seems to be getting worse. I say this because Kristina just called me from taking him some food, and told me he was vomiting blood and she was taking him to the hospital. Satan is atacking my family. He knows that God is drawing us nearer to Him, and the devil can’t stand it. My new job, Isaac having the flu, her moms health, and now her dads health have got Kristina thrown for a loop.
Thank you all who prayed for my family and my job situation. God answered quickly on this one! I start at the Woody Anderson Ford Quick Lane tomorrow, Tuesday the 20th. He truly has blessed me with a great opportunity to provide for my family and work with some great predisciples.
And another big thanks to eveyone who was at the Child Dedication service. Kristina and I know that we have a community of Christ followers behind us to help raise our children the way God wants. Your prayers are so important for my families future. Please let us know if there is ever anything we can pray for.
Again, thank you for all of your love and support you have shown us. We will always be here for you whenever you need us.
Love you all,
Joel
I have often asked myself the question- If I really believe that Jesus is who He says He is, how would I live my life differently? It challenges me. This last week I went on a ski trip with my husband. We had a great time on the slopes and being together for a solid week without work and the everyday routine. Despite the seemingly perfect environment I struggled with some nagging fears through out the first part of the week. I have gotten pretty serious altitude sickness in the past (temporary memory loss, migraine) and was concerned that it would happen again, eventhough we did not stay at such a high altitude. This worry at times made it hard for me to really enjoy being on the slopes.

Good news I’ve got a job interview at Woody Anderson Ford tomorrow at 1:00. So everyone would throw up a little prayer for me tomorrow I sure could use it! I feel very confident about this, but I still need Gods help on it.
Thank you for your prayers,
I love you all,
Joel
