This Thursday, April 3rd, there is a new Journey Group launching in South Huntsville!! They will be meeting at our house located at 5812 Macon Drive. We are just behind Jones Valley Pool, which is right beside Southwood Presbyterian Church.

Childcard will be provided at the Journey Group, so feel free to bring your kids!

We will begin at 6:30 at our house, and run until around 8:30.

David Thew and myself will be leading the Bible Study. At this point I don’t know any topics or things are planning to cover, but God’s pretty big, so I’m sure He will show us something!

For the first JG this Thursday, Dave will be at an ACTS 29 event in Missouri, so we’d like everyone to bring your favorite appetizer or snack, store bought is fine. Don’t feel like you have to bring anything - we will have plenty here also. Basically, we will come and meet each other, hang out for a while, talk about JG some, have prayer, and head home - pretty low key the first night.

Paula was considering presenting her dissertation on the theological ramifactions of the Roman Empire’s evolving process from empire to linked nation-states from the post-modern Christian’s viewpoint contrasted with that of Nietzche’s, but I advised her to just break the ice the first night and save that for week 2.

Anyway, if you want to come, come. If you haven’t hooked up with a JG yet, come check it out if you feel so led, and we’ll be glad to see you!
