I saw the Blue Angles in
I saw the Blue Angles in Huntsville a few years ago. I was impressed with all the planes that flew that day. A Blue Angel came from behind the tree line as I was walking to our car and I ducked down. They get pretty low and very fast.
If you want a cheap preview, the Blue Angels are practicing today and tomorrow at the airport.
Today from my office in
Today from my office in Research Park I saw a rather large prop plane with 2 smaller red bi-planes along it’s wing making some laps over to Monte Sano and back along the 565 corridor. Me personally, I like that big loud inefficient sound of flapping mass piston engines rather than jets. But anything loud is pretty cool. And their job at airshows is to make as much sounds as possible (like with needless afterburning). Maybe Sojourn has some earplugs left over from the Easter service…

Pray for the family of
Pray for the family of 5-year-old Aaron Miller. He was killed at the airshow when powerful winds made a generator fall on him. May God bless the family as they deal with this tragedy. I pray that they lean on Jesus. He is the only One that can bring real comfort during a time like this.
