Favorite website of THE day

It is the first of April, 2008. There are quite a few websites that bring honor to today. I am a Gmail user, so I am partial to Google’s new feature. It allows you to send emails to Gmail users now, but with an earlier time stamp. This can be useful if you are going to a meeting and forgot to send out the agendas.

What is your favorite? Keep it clean.

Peace and rickrolls,

Closely related to GMail is Google. This year, Google Books is really helping me pick up some slack for my lack of interest in reading by providing scratch and sniff options. http://books.google.com/bkshp?hl=en&tab=wp

I smell knowledge.

I was unimpressed with the April Fool’s Day happenings this year.

To get my laughs today spent some time on this website: http://icanhascheezburger.com/ (snapshots of animals with pithy captions)

And, as always, I shared this video with several people:

Perhaps we are becoming less foolish? Or are we becoming virtual fools relying on internet pranks rather than face-to-face?

Rickrolling - nice. Hey, I gotta admit he’s got a big voice from that little body. Maybe the late 80’s version of Josh Groban? I can feel Linda reeling in disapproval of that analogy even though she isn’t right here…

Here’s a good one that I missed yesterday: http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/iphone-has-a-hidden-sata-interface/

It’s a little geeky at the beginning but gets more practical later on…

EA got me a few days early with

http://www.theinternetisseriousbusiness.com/

I’m not sure that’s the correct address as I spent most of my time there chasing my browser as it moved around my screen. Every time I tried to close the browser it gave me a popup window with the lyrics of the horrible 80s song that plays in the background. I finally had to kill it with task manager.

WARNING: Do not click that link if you’ve got anything important happening in your browser!
