Just received an email about an online conversation with Dan Kimball tonight.

Several of you are working through Kimball’s book, “The Like Jesus But Not The Church.” He will be a guest at reclaimingthemind.org tonight. This the same organization that does Theology Unplugged and The Theology Program (TTP).

Give us some feedback if you participate.

From their website:

March 20
10pm-11:30pm EST

Guest: Dan Kimball
Subject: Why do people like Jesus but not the Church?
Related Book: They Like Jesus But Not the Church
Overview: The emerging culture interacts with the church and the church does not fair well. The culture says, “give us Jesus, but not religion.” What does this mean? How is the church supposed to respond? How could people like Christ, but not the church? Isn’t the church the body of Christ? Dan Kimball will be our special guest. He has been a pioneer with regards to cultural engagement. He is a pastor, an evangelical, and an emerger who is calling on us to respond.
