This theology quiz measures your worldview and theological leanings. My results seem to be pretty accurate:
“You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don’t think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this.”

Here’s the results from my wife (Debbie). Seeing that she grew up in the Methodist church, the results seem pretty accurate …. but also note the strong Reformed bent. Another few years and she should be solidly Reformed. :-)
You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan.
You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God’s grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists.

Interesting that Debbie’s came up Wesleyan as first - mine came with Wesleyan as second, and I also grew up in the Methodist church!

It would be interesting to see a geographical breakdown of people’s answers. I suspect that where you grow up would have alot to do with what your answers are.
We are big Auburn fans but my Mom used to tell my brother that if he had been born into a Bama family he would have been an Alabama fan. It used to drive him crazy. He would say “No Mom! I would have just KNOWN to be an Auburn fan!” Get the connection?

-sigh- I took the test twice
-sigh-
I took the test twice hoping I had progressed a little further from my ’fundie’ influence to more of a Emergent/Reformed slant. There are many theological things I am still working through. It is hard to let go of some of the ’security blankets’. It is amazing how much religious baggage I keep finding.
MY RESULTS…
You are a fundamentalist. You take the Bible as the foundation of your faith and read it very literally, and it shapes your world view. Non-fundamentalist Christians have watered-down the Gospel in your view, and academic study of the Bible stops us from ’taking God at his word.’ Science is opposed to faith, as it contradicts basic biblical truths.

Dave’s scores. Some of
Dave’s scores. Some of you have asked what the pastor’s test results were. Here we go. For what its worth, I do not like labels nor broad generalizations.
You scored as Reformed Evangelical.
You are a Reformed Evangelical. You take the Bible very seriously because it is God’s Word. You most likely hold to TULIP and are sceptical about the possibilities of universal atonement or resistible grace. The most important thing the Church can do is make sure people hear how they can go to heaven when they die.

As long as we’re
As long as we’re addressing where we came from, I’ll reveal my history. I grew up Roman Catholic with Episcopalian and Lutheran influences. It wasn’t until high school I started going to a Methodist church, and I ended up at a Baptist church in college, although not for long. I think my scores reflect what I have picked and chosen from various areas.
