Hey Sojourners! If you are looking for some good ways to give back to the community…look no further! Here are few opportunities for you, friends, & family to do something fun AND give back at the same time! I’m not a chairman for any of these, just have friends that are trying to rally some help and support. But when December comes around, I’ll be looking for some help with Santa’s Village in the Craft Room! :)

I haven’t heard about
I haven’t heard about that…but I’m going to be working at “Rock the Vote” tonight and I’ll see if any of my fellow Connect people know about it. Do you know who it’s with, a specific organization, or is it a city organized event? If I find out anything, I’ll post the details! Peace out, A

Serving the City as ONE - Saturday, April 19
LAST MINUTE DETAILS
We begin at 7:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall with a light breakfast. After instructions
and prayer we will gather in our teams and begin going to work sites. New this year,
all in-house packing and sewing projects will go to the CLC for their work. Lunch will
be served in the Fellowship Hall at no cost. Some projects will begin later and will
not meet for the 7:30 time. If you have not received a call from your team or project
leader and need more information, call Mike Pearce at 655-3423. Or if you would
like to come and work and have not signed up – come on. It is not fair to add you to
a project all ready with the right amount of workers so I have a project just for you. If
you were asked to bring tools, materials, gloves and other things, don’t forget to
bring them.
Thanks A and EM. I just

On other news: Rock the Vote last night was a success! A lot of young people came out and registered to vote, gathered information on current issues, and met Hsv/Mad political leaders…as well as enjoyed great music, food, & drinks!
